Can I fundraise for cancer research and patient advocacy programs?

Yes!  We help support the cause in helping to find a cure for cancer through the world renowned Providence Cancer Center.  You and your teammates will help fund the latest technological research in cancer treatments and patient care programs. Get started fundraising!

Where do I sign the waiver?
A.

Each participant will sign the waiver online when they first signup on the Team Clubhouse via the link in their invitation email. This is an electronic signature (typing in your full name) at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: If you're trying to login and get a message about signing the waiver, please check your email and access the site from the link in your email invitation.

How do I change my password?
A.

1) Login to the Team Clubhouse
2) Click on 'My Account'
3) Enter your new password into the 'Password:" field and click Submit

I didn't get into the Hood To Coast/Portland To Coast lottery and want to participate in other related races! What are my options?
A.

What is the Race Finish Time Survey and where do I fill it out?
A.

The Race Finish Time Survey was created to help participants determine what they can expect to race during this year’s relays.  To complete the survey:

1) Login to the Team Clubhouse 
2) Click on My Account
3) Tab over to Race Finish Time
4) Answer the short survey, entering your time from a race or all out time trial. (No Relay Races Allowed)

How do I change the Team Captain?
A.

1) Current Captain must log into Team Clubhouse
2) Click on 'Captain Tools' and over to Change Team Captain

3) Select the team member you would like as captain and click on the green thumbs up

NOTE: Once the role of Captain has been transferred, the former Captain will no longer be able to invite/remove team members, edit team info, etc.

Can I change my team name?
A.

Yes, log in to the Team Clubhouse (if you're the Team Captain)!  Go to "Captains Tools" and then over to "Change Team Name" (blue box).

How did my 'anticipated finish time' get calculated?
A.

AFT or a team's Anticipated Finish Time is calculated using data from the Race Finish Time Survey filled out by each team member.  Data is analyzed and checked before entering the seeding model.  New start times, traffic patterns and team distributions create a AFT for your team.

Where is the 'Invite Volunteer' button?
A.

The 'Invite Volunteer' button will appear on July 17 - Aug 7 for captains on the Team Clubhouse. It will not appear before this date.

What are the starting times for Hood To Coast?
A.

The race start times begin at 6:30 a.m. on Friday at the Timberline Day Lodge and continue in waves throughout the day until 5:45pm.

How big is Hood To Coast?
A.

Known as "The Mother of All Relays", HTC is the largest relay in the world, hosting a capped team limit for the past 23 years, and has filled on "Opening Day" of registration for the past 16 years! There are 1,050 teams. HTC is also the longest running relay event in Oregon and hosts the largest beach party on the west coast!

Scenic Timberline Lodge (elevation 6,000 ft.), on top of Oregon's tallest mountain, Mt. Hood (11,234 ft).

Where does the race end?
A.
The finish line for the race is on the sandy beach at the Pacific Ocean in Seaside, Oregon. 2015 will be sure to showcase another fantastic party!!

What is the distance?
A.
The race spans 197 miles, from the top of Mt. Hood to the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean in Seaside, Oregon.

How many Legs are there?
A.
The race consists of thirty-six (36) Legs. Each runner is required to complete three (3) of the 36. Course Maps

How long is each leg?
A.
Each Leg ranges in distance from 3.52 to 8.09 miles. Legs vary in difficulty, from easy to very hard, due to the varying Oregon terrain.

How many members are on each team?
A.

Each team consists of Eight (8) to Twelve (12) members.

Where can I pick up my race bag/packet?
A.

For out of town teams and teams that did not pick up their race bags on Aug 15 (pending-check back in early Spring!), they will be available at the start lines only.

I need to swap race tee shirts, where and when can I do this?
A.

At the Portland Running Company Merchandise Tent at the Finish Party, teams can pick up additional shirts as well as swap sizes still available.
